Founded in 2003, Black Cypress was created by embedded systems veterans who saw the growing gap between IT security improvements and the lagging embedded systems security implementations. We build secure, low-level software for companies that operate in high-risk, high-regulation environments — medical, defense, telecom, industrial IoT, and more.

Our roots are in operating system internals, real-time systems, and embedded platform engineering. We’ve focused exclusively on securing embedded and mobile platforms for more than a decade. Security isn’t a feature for us — it’s foundational.
